Crazy sky over the sea stacks at Vik on the return leg of our 5 day Winter workshop. Shot with 135mm from the sea cliffs at Dyrholaey.
Taken on a 3 day Jokulsarlon photo tour – during one of the long evenings. We went down to the lacier lagoon because the skies looked clear and we were rewarded because he Northern Lights had started. This spot was really deep into the lagoon and far from the car park with all the flashlights.
This Winter photo was taken on the ice beach at Jokulsarlon on a photo tour at Sunrise. The blue of the glacier ice works well against the black sand and glowing sky. Winter Sunrise occurs out to sea in South Iceland, so we are often greeted with a colourful back drop to the Glacier ice.
