Vestrahorn mountain is one of the oldest mountain ranges in Iceland. I took this photo on a windy September day in East Iceland. The grassy tussocks were blowing in the wind while the stubborn clouds was unveiling the peaks of Vestrahorn mountain. This dramatic terrain is part of Stokksnes.
I was attracted to this little tuft of green which had survived the latest sand storm. That little piece of green adds interest to the layers of landscape and adds to the range of textures in the photograph.
