We visit Iceland’s Snæfellsness Peninsular

Journey to the centre of the earth with this epic full day tour. From Reykjavik we drive through the Hvalfjörður tunnel and after hitting Borgarnes for refreshments, we head to the wild west. The Peninsular hosts some of Iceland’s oldest inactive volcanoes including the endangered Snæfellsjökull. There are plenty of lava fields and volcanic craters dotted around the most beautiful mountain range in Iceland.

Seasons: Running all year round.

Timings: The tour will start early eveing in Summer. This trip may involve shooting through the night hours (22.00-06.00) and returning to Reykjavik at ‘Stupid o’clock’ in the morning. We will revert to regular hours towards September.

The main selling point of the peninsular is the incredible coastline. Catch the waves at the right time and you are guaranteed great looking photographs.
After a photo-shoot around the famous ‘Kirkjufell’ (Church mountain) we stop for a great meal in the pleasant fishing village of Grundafjörður.

Duration: 10-12 hours

Price: We are offering the tour from $600, this is for the tour – up to 4 passengers. The price doesn’t include the cost of food and accommodation. Can be extended to 2 or 3 days.
