Endless black sand deserts stretching from glacier capped volcanoes to the North Atlantic host veins of glacier melt-water. Huge lakes are home to giant chunks of glacial ice and seal colonies. The sheer cliff edges show the scars of glaciers and are home to countless waterfalls.
The trip along the South coast to the Vatnjökull region is an adventure packed with a wide variety of landscapes and nature.

Seasons: Running all year.
Timings:Summer start times will be early evening. We may be shooting all night and camping during the day – shooting all night again and returning to Reykjavik at stupid o’clock in the morning. Winter start times are around 09.30. We shoot all day – hopefully a couple of hours in the night. The shoot all through the second day and return to Reykjavik in the evening.
Summer: The tour will start around 20.00 mid June. This trip will involve shooting through the night hours (22.00-06.00) and sleeping in tents during the day. We may revert to regular hours towards September.
Winter: (September-April) The tour starts around 09.30 and may involve night shooting if conditions are right for Aurora Borealis.

The drive to Jökulsárlón is an amazing adventure, but too long to truly enjoy in a single day. One option is to spread the trip over 2 days. This popular overnight tour includes Jökulsarlon and the South coast. We are never far from the glacier lagoon, so we are in a good location if we are lucky enough to see auroras (winter) or to explore the lagoon through the midnight sunlight (Summer). Here we can also catch amazing images on the black sand beach with glacial ice.

Locations and activities: Over the 2 days we can explore many of the great features along the south coast such as the big waterfalls and beautiful beaches. We visit Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, Reynisdrengur, Fjaðrárgljúfur, Skaftafell, Jökulsarlon, Fjalsarlon. Activities may include hiking, glacier hiking, ice-cave exploring, Lagoon boat trips, exhibitions and restaurants.
Accommodation: We stay overnight at Hali guest house (winter) or Camp at Skaftafell (Summer)*(*Note: some of these options will vary from Guide to Guide).
Price: Currently we are offering the workshop for $1200. This for 3-4 passengers. It doesn’t include the cost of food and accommodation.
