Hey Jay,
thanks for your interest.

The workshop is priced in USD merely for a guide because everyone understands USD - globally. Of course you can join if you are from the UK (as long as it is not Basingstoke!).

The quoted price doesn't include your air ticket to Iceland.

This trip looks wonderful but I have some questions..

As it is priced in USD I assume it is organised from there. Can a person from the UK come along?

I can also find no mention of flights. Are these included or excluded please?

thanks

Beautiful images. I love the setting sun on the ash plume, but the drama created with the 200mm is quite something too.

Us too! We are a small Nottingham based veggie/vegan catering group and would be delighted to cater for 20 people on a budget of £24,000 - half our annual turnover!

Luckily I consider myself savvy enough to spot scams like this, but wonder how anyone could be taken in. If I have the slighted doubt about too-good-to-be-true offers I simply google a key phrase - so thanks to you for posting this blog which was about the only one to come up for this one.

btw I think the scam involves their reversing of a payment made to your bank account which they can somehow use to get a 'refund' far in excess of any 'deposit' that they may have paid. Someone else might have a more concrete explaination of the process.

Hi Stu, the 17-40 f/4 works well, but if you can afford it... the 16-35 f/2.8 markII is much better.
Just had a look at your site... love your timelapse, you will have a fantastic time in Iceland. I am thinking of doing some Aurora Time-lapse on my Winter workshops...

Just stumbled across your site and I am going to have fun reading all of your posts. I will be coming to Iceland in October and cannot wait to take plenty of photos. I will be using a Canon 7D, what lens do you recommend for this as I am looking to get a new wide angle lens.

I'm still waiting for the day Nikon or Canon incorporate a hyperfocus indicator in the view finder. It would be so simple to do.
