Whilst running a tour at Jökulsarlon a few years ago, I bumped into this guy who was also running a photo workshop. We stopped and chatted and it turned out that he had heard of me and knew my work. Then I asked his name… ‘Daniel Bergman’ came the reply.
Born in Iceland 1971, Daniel Bergman is perhaps the best known Nature Photographer in Iceland.
Attending one of his Iceland workshops is perhaps the best way to get to know Daniel and his work, but until that time, you could buy and study his newest book ‘Iceland Landscapes’. This book was on my Christmas list and because I live in Iceland, the book is easy to find in most book stores. For the rest of you though, you will have to order it directly from this website.
To the photographer this book is a valuable resource, an inspiration and an insight into Icelandic Nature photography. May Daniel Bergman continue to capture the intimacies of Icelandic Nature for many years to come.
