Vik beach

This was shot as I walked slowly along the beach toward the famous Reynisdrangar sea stacks. My camera was mounted on my tripod which I was holding upside down very close to the sand. I wasn’t really happy with the jerky quality but after rendering it black and white with some noise I think it has some artistic quality.

my good friends Quentin has just published his first detective novel. It is set in Iceland and features Officer Gunnhildur who is a regular police woman who stumbles upon a murder trail which goes deeper than most would feel comfortable with. I’ve noticed in a couple of your wide angle night shots the stars distort on the outer edges.
